Kieran Green’s heatmap from today

King Cross was named after Jeff.

Job done, three points against a struggling side. A bit more quality / composure / luck in the final third and we would have been out of sight after an hour, or sooner. Even after going behind to

That would be my team if Senior is fit. Surely a chance for Tear if not? Also got to question is Woods fit enough to start? If not, we are limited to 4 at the back. Will be nice to have an attacking option or two from the bench.

I like senior...one for the future but he needs to work on his final ball....he’s hits the first man like 8/10 times

Its not working, get 3 kicks a game Maher out of there he only gets in the way. No relegation let's go for it.

Marmite Maher .. always seems to divide opinion

I am in the Maher brings a lot to the team and I think if you look at the stats for the last 2 or 3 season we get better results when he plays than when he doesn’t

but I accept he is not a brown or a Clarke .. but he adds more around the whole pitch than they do ..

but accept you don’t like Marmite :)

Maher needs to slot back in defence. He was too negative against hartlepool. Woods is more creative and also a free kick specialist.

Dom Tear had a shocker in his last match. Not sure, I know Jeff King can play on the left which would open opportunity for   Benn to make his first start.

And yet some of the best crosses have come from him ..

Think woods is still struggling with long Covid .. think when fit he is one of the first names on the team sheet

Tear has had very little game time difficult to judge him on 10 minutes here & ten minutes there, the downside of no reserve team.

Woods just beginning to show some form, with Summfield missing need him to perform & lead.

And the other 2 crosses he overhits

I like him, hope he's fit for today. Dont forget those lovely crosses he was firing in for Hyde when we were having that really good scoring spree, just needs to find his range again. It will come ESU

Shall we not start putting square pegs in round holes and play players where their natural position  is?

King has been a big attacking outlet this season. Its significantly reduced if he has to cut back onto his favourite foot every time he has the chance to cross.

As I said Yesterday if Senior Is injured and we'd rather move a right  back to left back and play a centre back at right back then Tear might as well stop bothering to turn up to training because he is effectively done

Agreed keep Kung where he is best and just have one mis fit peg rather than two

Will we get the Billy bounce.

It must be a boost to morale to have him back.

Be nice to go on a run of wins with plenty of goals

A run while Billy is here will set us up nicely for when we get Summerfield back, for the final push

The comments by King and a few others that we owe them a good hiding have wound up the Wealdstone fan forum somewhat. Let's hope it does not come back to bite us.

Yep I like him too, only kidding.

he’s getting a decent run in the side now so hopefully get a bit more consistency with them crosses

For me the best football we have played (other than giving away 2 silly penalties) was against Torquay, when we set up to close them down & create forward movement. We should go with a similar set up today. If Senior is injured, surely there was enough on show from Campbell in a defensive mode to slot him into the left wing back role. Torquay was his best game for us & he constantly helped in the defensive play to fill that roll & not to disrupt moving King across to where he is not comfortable, or risking changing a team formation that clearly worked. We play our best football when we adopt a positive approach & play with speed, we are strong & fit enough to take on any team in this division when we play with a belief in this way.

0-2 to the Shaymen.

"Maher-mite"

Helps the Southern commentators with the pronunciation too.

For those intending to buy todays Stream, on their stream page they say stream commentary will begin 15 minutes prior to kick off with special guest interview.

Before those ITK criticize me for negative remarks, why don't we have similar?

It may help iron out some of our streaming issues & give our supporters something additional to look forward to.

Thus perhaps increasing revenue, by more supporters buying the stream.
