Why not move house to another area where your car does not freeze and then the game would be on?

What we all find highly amusing is that Stelling, club president of your club hartlepool united (small h and u intended),has had a public rant about the latest postponement of our fixture. If I was a

Maybe the new criteria for the ref for calling a game off is not to walk on the pitch and look at it, maybe he should just wander round a car park checking car windscreens?

Bottom line is, halifax FC (small h intended) are supposed to be a 'club' with ambitions to play in the EFL, how can they be considered competent when for basic ground prep, what can only be described as old bedsheets are used as frost protection. The club & its fans should be embarrassed, but they probably don't understand how little they really are. The sub 2000 fanbase  during normal times speaks volumes.

Jeff Stelling couldn't have put it better himself!

halifax FC? Why should I be embarrassed? Sub 2000 fan base? What relevance has that to frost protection?

I am deeply embarrassed that the weather has caused a couple of games to be cancelled. Even more so that the club have decided to pay their existing commitments rather than shell out £20k on a set of ground covers so that a third party employee can play with them whenever he wants. And I think we will come to regret creating the circumstances where Sir Jeff felt it necessary to have a very public dig at our club on Twitter. It will have repercussions for decades and all but rule out any assault on the European Premier League in 2035.

Or, TLDR, *zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*

Perhaps you should check your facts . The pitch was in perfect condition at 3pm . Turned cold 4pm onwards . Could have probably kicked off at 7pm but the freezing conditions meant that safety of the players could not be guaranteed nor could the ref guarantee the completion of the game . We're as disappointed as you but still pissing ourselves laughing that it could only happen to an hartlepools game

If I was a monkey hanger fan (small m, h and f intended) it would be me who would be embarrassed to have this brain dead Drongo (large D intended) represent my club.

I believe he once presented Coundown, so Jeff, you have 30 seconds to solve this conundrum... K, R, E, A, W and N (large letters intended)........

Is the answer Steveonaroll?

And yet, for all that, I don't remember us ever acting as stung over a bloody FA Trophy loss as Hartlepool are.

Had to be called off as it was cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey.

Stelling and all the Monkey hangers have been made to look absolute retards by their own manager who has confirmed that nothing could be done.

What would you have done as a non league club ? Switched on your undersoil heating !!!

Must suck to be trolled by such a small club like us. Maybe if your collective massive fan base were all able to flick that sand out of your mangina over it it could help sort the pitch out.

Not sure why your so eager to return to the Shay since the worlds best team lost to the tin pot one last time. Now that is embarrassing. Imagine being as massive as you lot are and yet you can’t beat a tin pot club who use bed sheets for covers. We’d ask to lend your bed sheets but you probably need them for hanging the monkeys, right?

Imagine getting so incensed by the postponement of a match in sub-zero conditions on a Tuesday January evening, which your club's manager was in full agreement with and which you couldn't actually legally attend anyway, to bother to register on a rival's messageboard, just to spout a load of juvenile willy-waving nonsense :D:D:D worse than the Daily Mail comments section, I applaud you sir.

Clubs with much bigger fanbases than ours famously never fallen victim to the weather of course
