Don’t rate Wild! Apart from getting a team in the play offs last season when he inherited 8 players and had 2 weeks to get a squad together, and being in the play offs now when his squad has had Covid

Fortunately for us PW picks the team not you. He hasn't made him captain in Clarke's absence for nothing.

If we could bring the inevitable meltdown on their social media forward by a few hours, it might thaw out the pitch.

On the pitch inspections.

When was the last time we actually past a pitch inspection?

I can't remember many times we have.

A pitch inspection in the Shay's case always seems a guaranteed postponement

It's poured down all day and we've had the snow at the weekend. I'm no geologist, botanist or whatever the scientific name is for it but I can't see the game being on. The pitch will be absolutely saturated. I know it's going to be nice tomorrow but it's a 1pm inspection and it's not a lot of time to let it drain.

I hope it is just because it's something to look forward to.

No danger of ice so only a question of how much water the pitch has taken.

Hartlepool fans no doubt accusing us of watering the pitch to get the game off or why we havent invested in a roof to cover the pitch.

Or bigger forks...

Walked across Savile Park moor last night and still frozen in places so would expect the Shay to be similar.

Last time I saw you, I think running would be a better way to get rid off the beer and take aways and not just walking a few hundred yards to the chippy
