Reading their posts they still think of themselves as an EFL club and are not too happy about having to slum it with the likes of us. That's how we felt for the first twenty-odd years in non-league.

If PW builds on these and stops repetition of the same errors then gradually we will improve. We can all see, event the most pessimistic ones on here, that we have a far better midfield than last season, the defence is not being overrun by anyone, even with 9 men. So it is just getting the last piece of the jigsaw into place and we all know that is up front. I trust PW to get this right, eventually, but it may take a bit more time, even if we had new faces to throw into the fray tonight. For me, this team is fitter and stronger than last seasons squad and despite not getting the results we deserve we are heading in the right direction. For once the table does lie. Johnson Byrne. Clarke. Bradbury Tear. Senior Woods. Summerfield Green Allen. Hyde That would be my starting line up with Tear and Senior as wingbacks. Only alternative would be to have Earing in for Green to give more fire power, From the bench Green could then come on if legs tire or someone in the midfield picks up a knock. Maher, could fill in for one of the back three or midfield, with Nepomuceno giving an alternative look up front if required. Edited November 17, 2020 by ITMAN

The common thread is they feel they are the biggest club in the NL and probably only Stockport can compete, but they have lost more than won, so with the long layoff they could be due another defeat. There was some talk on the forums that they consider that they did badly out of their summer signings, some think they have gone backwards compared to last season. So it could go either way, but I am hoping we have the rest of the squad clear of CV-19 and a full bench. Time for Jake to bang a few in.
