Browny officialy gone. What a servant he has been. Could have jumped ship when we went down but stayed and sorted out the mess. All the best Matty!

Edit: York have just announced he’s signed for them. Unreal signing for them

You must agree though that it's a sad day to lose someone like him not just in terms of his quality and what he gave to us over five years on the pitch, but the unbeliavable bond he had with our fans as well?

Thought Brown wanted to move closer to home ?Does he know his geography? Will probably be his last decent chance at getting a decent deal so I don’t begrudge him that and all the best unless he plays against the Shaymen.

No, he just couldn’t commit to extra training that’s required. Maybe at York, it’s optional, and considering it’s one of the few clubs that could prob match his wage from us. Makes sense really.

We will miss him. Not only as a player. But as a captain and a leader. Its hard to find players that really care in football and you can see he loved the club.  Such a shame its had to end.

Good luck Matty

Of course he wanted he wanted to play for us. Its obvious Wild didn't want someone with more influence than him in the changing room.

Yep - or maybe York are paying him enough to make the extra day worth doing.
