I wonder if he's comfortable on the ball or fast? At 6"3 I have doubts on thathe and would still like another centre half come in who has them qualities if we are to play a attacking game with a higher line. I don't want Maher filling in there.

But otherthan that its a welcome addition and we have brought in a few imposing looking players which scared us to death when we had Yeovil last season.

He played 16 times for Yeovil would either of our CB have got into that team?

I think it's highly likely Maher would be classed as a centre back this season. We have signed 2 specialists for the DM role in Woods and Summerfield.

Back three of Maher, Clarke, Bradbury sounds balanced and comfortable

Or a 4-2-3-1 with Maher and Woods as the 2. When the full backs bomb on Maher will drop in to make 3 centre halves as added security to a counter attack.  ?

I’d like to go away from the wing backs personally. Maybe keep it as a backup option if we go on a poor run again

Just my thinking, Stenson crossing into Hyde would be handy

Not a fan of the back five myself but I'm not picking the team

Plenty of Yeovil fans on twitter saying we’ve got a good one. Sounds like he didn’t get much of a chance at Yeovil but did ok when he did. Can also cover at left back which is useful
