Nothing really to summarise. The brief accounts dont give a great deal away which is a shame but one of the downfalls of being owned by one person.

No income expenditure page just straight to balance sheet so like you say Bubba nothing really.

Profit and loss line is telling, this is the reserves, down from £172k to £1.4k. So all the money from Vardy/Gregory has gone. Guess this is why db was looking for investment earlier this year

Would certainly be interesting to see what that £1.4k figure is now.

The players need to look at that & what the supporters have raised & take it on to the field in the playoffs. Only 110% is good enough.

Whatever does the "amounts falling due after more than one year" (£102k) consist of?

Presume that would be tax due but can be reduced in the next tax year by financial losses and creative accounting . If say, another investor came on board ( or the club has some influx of money) it might be more difficult to bury that due tax without some creativity or a world pandemic . ps; I haven't bothered to read the accounts as I take it from other peoples reactions that there's not much to see here

Its a 'long term liability', often a loan but can be any amount that is owed over 1 year. So for example, if we've agreed to pay for a player over two seasons, the second year of payments would show in this category. Its really hard to know what they are but I assume the 30k in the previous years is the directors loans, so this could be an increase in directors loans, or a player, or something else. Without seeing the p/l its difficult to say.

Payment due had me thinking of tax but it's more likely a rolling directors loan that doesn't necessarily need repaying but would protect MrB from an unwanted takeover approach

I'm a bit surprised more people aren't concerned about our financial state.

The year to 30/6/20 must be another loss which you would imagine will have exhausted our cash with DB probably putting more money in.

Maybe some clarification from the BOD of these accounts and the current situation should be forthcoming.

At least it explains why the club cannot afford to do another year of the cheap season ticket which they had to do after the previous awful season.

Fundraising appeal on the horizon!

Looking at those Profit and Loss figures for the last 5 years, I have paid more corporation tax than the club. That suggests that there is very little spare money in the coffers, as the income and outgoings are more or less the same. However, it does also suggest that we are living within our means, but this leaves very little scope for investment in players who would take us to the next level.

Let's hope that the unexpected happens and we go up to the EFL where the funding gap will be assisted greatly.

no really living within our means if we have used up over £300k of reserves in 2 years..........
