Shay Hotel .

Plummet Line was associated with Blue Frocks for a time so in my opinion should not be included.

Orange tree.Never went in but it sure looked dismal

I saw HX2 there. It was £1 for a double tequila slammer. I can remember throwing up in the middle doorway of M&S when it was where Wilkinsons is now. The doorway isn't there now.

Once I'd thrown up I was reyt and the night continued.

I'm barred!! The first and only I've ever been barred from.

I think it'll be in though seeing as it's one of the busiest around the town centre.

It was a big rugby union pub at one time.

It is a popular place but I would compare it to Switzerland , dull.

Yes, I worked there some 30 odd years ago. Rugger buggers came in at about 10pm, already very stewed and usually with a chicken leg up their arse as a bet. I felt humbled.

What was the one at the bottom of Bull Green called? On the corner next to where the taxi rank is.

A black guy called Gabe and a guy called Cronky used to own it. They were both from Barnsley.

It would have been the DB somewhere in the mid 60’s.

It was 80's when I went in or maybe 1990.

It was a nice bar and they'd spent some money on it.

In Sowerby Bridge there was the Wharf Hotel, just up the road the Prospect Inn and just above that the Brown Cow.
