Torquay on Saturday

Recommended Posts

Massive game, given the debacle v Halesowen and the postponement of the Sutton game it feels as though a little but of momentum has gone, the team need a performance and a result on Saturday to keep the end goal in sight.

We never seem to do as well when they have more preparation time.  Lets hope we can change that on saturday.

Think every game is massive from now. The next game after that will be our biggest game of the season, and the one after that and so on. We have to finish in the top 4 but we need to just keep picking up points starting Saturday with 3 of them:)

I think Torquay were very good when they played us but they've dipped skightly. I'm confident because we are 3rd for a reason, you can't fluke your way to 3rd. Torquay will be confident too but our standing in the league will give them slight jitters.

Let's hope the weather is nice for the travelling fans bit also the players who will have trained in bad conditions all week and will get a boost if it's nice weather.

Hope the weather and their pitch holds out. Forecast not too bad atm.

Have they got a local rugger team turning out between now and then?

I've been thinking the same. It could well be called off.

No chance. No rain from Thursday evening and will be around 12 degrees down there. Be like summer for us

It's not the temperature that's the problem it's the wind and rain.

No rain predicted . Wind isn’t a problem as it’ll dry the wet pitch :D

Having checked the forecast repeatedly I think the wind will make conditions difficult but the surface will be playable.

We'll be doing our bit for Yorkshire Devon relations too.

Genius.

On a more serious note the south west has taken a bit of a battering. Not sure what condition their pitch is in etc. Still raining and very windy here in Leeds.

If memory serves me right the cup game down there was very windy too and Town managed the conditions perfectly (by the sound of it.)

Just get Mr. Chadders to stand at the other end and that will neutralize the wind.

Ha no, but the pitch for our recent FA Trophy was poor and that was prior to the two recent storms.

They are all massive games from now on.

Harrogate already winning at Barnet. They could quite easily win the league they’ve been on a right run.

And rip up that horrible pitch
