Today’s Game Town v Halesowen FA Trophy

Surely it's only right to be concerned after losing to a team three leagues below us given that we want to be in the Football League in three months time?

Cup upset. It happens. Get over it?

Surely you would be happy with us overachieving and gaining promotion?

You didn’t expect that and an FA Trophy win did you?

Your obsession with us over achieving is staggering. We are in the top 3 on merit. Who knows if Wild hadn, t been so stubborn in his team selection & refusing to change things. We may even be top...

Honest question. Did you think that after the farce that was pre season (games being called off, manager walking, not enough players, new manager coming in late) that we would currently be 3rd!?

And please adopt some realism in your response

These things happen in football

we were S*it on the day and Halesowen capitalised on this, fair play to them

would much rather we lost this, and beat Sutton next Saturday

league is the focus this season

Easily. It was a cup upset. We had two of our biggest players out. It happens.

We still sit 3rd in the league!

I would say we underachieved Oct/Nov/Dec. Due to poor tactics.

Last season and preseason we were 3 quality players short of a good team I stated it then and said after season tickets announce we had to be successful this season and make every game count to the last kick to make the offer viable. JF going was a good thing albeit if he had opened his eyes he should have changed tactics with him being a MF player in his time.

Yes, correct.... We are over achieving in terms of where we thought we would be pre-season, but we are two thirds of the way through now, so we can't keep harping back to pre season.

We are where we are on merit despite having a stupid blip before Christmas.

Yesterday was certainly 'under achieving' in my opinion. The team were hoping for a win, but not prepared to fully commit in order prioritise on the league. Wild is the best manager we had in a long time but I would just like him to tell it like it is. The paying fan has every right to be disappointed.

And reactions like this are what is wrong with the world, soft, snowflakes. You know it was said in jest

Remarks re suicide or mental health issues are no joking matter and even said " in jest" is offensive to people who have been affected by it as some of us on here sadly were last year.

So, who was the fan/s that shouted abuse at Josh Staunton at full time? Josh quite a bit pissed/upset at being called a C*nt for losing a game of football.

Fan??? Not a fan and one of our better performers recently and a genuine nice guy was clearly upset by the comment. Hope the guy in question has the courage of his convictions to offer an apology to Josh but I won't hold my breath.

Perhaps, but not as stupid as this. Would have been a good game between you, two evenly matched sides neither of whom can beat the stupidly named Yeltz from a few divisions below on their own patch, ;-)

Talk about providing motivation to the opposition....stick it on the notice board and go and shove it down their throats!

Don't think anyone would have envisioned us sitting 3rd at this moment I agree. Yet we are there on merit, Wild, s recruitment has been fairly good. So why can, t we push on & cement a play off place at least?

This is our best chance we have had to get out of this league. Bosomworth has to support Wild now to get us over the line..

Shades of us winning 2-0 at Droylsden in the FA Cup.

Doesn’t matter what league you’re in, if your playing well and only lost 2 all season, you’re gonna give someone a game, and they certainly did that.

Good luck to them, they’ll remember that day out for ages won’t they? That’s what it’s all about.

Wembley’s so 4 years ago anyway.

I would say with regards to the “disrespectful” fixtures poster, if you knew our club you’d know it was incompetence and not a deliberate act of arrogance!

Well done on your win, we need to concentrate on getting to the football league now. Off you pop back to the "Yeltz" messageboard

We'd be in the next round of we'd played Maidenhead.

We wouldn't have been in the next round playing like that if we had played Team Odyssey Reserves

Aye, let's get back to our bread and butter. Time to cement a play off spot.

Do 2nd and 3rd place still qualify for the Scottish Cup?

I'd love us to get into their cup.

The main aim would still be to achieve promotion but it would be a nice bit of history for the club and just think if we were to win a couple of ties. Even one round would be fantastic.
