We are top of the league we need to seize the moment, a small investment now.

Good man, how much are you thinking of investing in the club ? I might be able to match your investment .

Would love to invest but I'm a poor OAP, but if you've got money to spare Bollox get it in.

Players aware of negative. Lets spread positive.

Well Paul if they are not aware of it in the last 5 home games they are seriously being bombarded by blind pressure.

Of course we don't want players coming in who are disruptive characters. But Rodney was with us just a few months ago, and played with many of the players we have now. We know he fits in. And we know he delivers. His goals were a massive part of us avoiding relegation.

We would only have been talking a maximum 3 month loan. Is anyone really saying that such an outlay would cripple us? We were able to afford him last season.

And as for Pete Wild saying he doesn't want to rock the boat, the existing squad got us to where we are. Well fair enough in one way. But things change quickly in football. That same squad are now the ones who in the last 5 home games have lost to Harrogate ( twice ), lost to Yeovil and Boreham Wood, and could not score against bottom club Chorley. So I would say the players DO need a shake up with some new blood coming in.

What deal Salford cut last season was not necessarily open to us this season

And spending what you haven’t budgeted for causes debt. Debt causes clubs to go bust.

I would rather we remain within budget and get the best we can from the players at our disposal. Or beg and borrow from the loan market.

Yeah and stay in this league for years and years sounds great. Got to show ambition.  There are ways and means of affording players. If our board are happy with southwell and Silva as our strikers then we are going to struggle to stay up there

Also, it's easier to attract the really good players when you are sitting at the top of the league than languishing in the relegation zone. We have a really good squad, Wild just needs to get a couple of players who will really make it tick.

Rodney is part of the loan Market. We are in catch 22 situation, as we are miss the PO´s and we will lose money speculate and miss the PO´s we lose money. make the PO´s and we will most likely make money.

We’re paying a wage for reserve keeper to sit on the bench and never play  , oh yeah and we’re not living within our means as we’re budgeting for a controlled loss , 2 more seasons then what ?

Correct. With the current team we have we won’t stay up there for long.

If we want to stay up there we have to bring in atleast a striker. Whoever thinks Southwell And Tobi are going to do well are going to be awfully wrong. Can’t see them getting 20 between them.

Still try stay up there as long as possible but atm we will attract the better players as we are sitting top of the league

Is the Horse called Eric?

Is the Horse a Manic Depressive?

Does the Horse support FC Halifax Town?

Can’t be certain but probably.
