Notts county are expected to break the National League attendance record with around 15000 attending.Maximum entrance fee is £3.How many would turn up at the Shay if we had the same deal?

How many are going from Fylde ?

Kossy will go watch his team mates. He will cut a lonely figure in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand.

Spitting distance at least

The FA have said he has to wear a netted hood in his first game back. One of those the police put over the heads of spitting criminals angered at being arrested.

I think if DB took his time and say announced it early season with a few months notice then I feel we could be looking at 4000/5000, depending on who we were playing, whether the likes of Huddersfield and Leeds were playing at home.

lucky to get 4000 if it was £1...……………….Halifax public not interested in football....

What a great attendance for Notts County - there stadium is the best in non league......

Hooters will be busy again....

It’s something we should maybe do on an international weekend with many of the local clubs away. We would get 4000 I’d imagine at that price.

Doubt it would add 500 to the gate

but would increase match day costs etc

i am not against doing things like this .. I really struggle to see it making any long term impact on crowds and revenue

what does make a difference is playing attractive winning football... that is really what counts

Lower league clubs undervalue the befits to the players and there performance of a full ground, the atmosphere at a home game can contribute a lot to the confiedece throughout the team, we should try a reduced ticket event perhaps on pre match day purchased tickets so the promotion team can get to grips with the masses lol,

Around 12,000 Town fans spent around £100 to watch our game at Wembley with travel food and drink etc. That was a one-off for which they were happy to pay and if we went again we would take more because we all had a great day and told everybody about it. £20 admission at the Shay is a no-no for most of those and even £10 for an ordinary league match keeps them at home. But £3 with all the fan fare for one match could bring in thousands, knowing there will be more fans at the Shay helps bring more in as we all like big crowds. Mind you if we got 10,000 we would do what we always seem to do for the big games at the Shay and produce a boring match which stops the floaters returning!

Keep saying we should trim this either free entry or £1 just get the afc boys with buckets behind the turnstiles, reckon all the regulars would chuck their £20 in , so no vat to pay , reckons we’d actually make more money

We haven’t had a stupid think of a number and multiply it by an impossible number thread for awhile , but this one is a novelty as it combines spitting with Mathematics.

Regulars would chuck in 20 quid ..no way

we have people selling match days from their Season ticket books for 10 pounds

they receive 10 pounds the club loses 20 .. not exactly helping the club .. poor showing by some of our so called supporters

I am assuming this excludes postponed matches such as Whitby vs The Shaymen?
