Nothing to do with Scot, it is my lad from Malta that has changed things, two wins out of two since he has been here, three out of four at the start of the season, the one defeat at Salford. Five wins out of six, he returns to Malta in the morning.

Cancel his flight shaytrev & keep him hear until we are safe.

Isn’t it a bit early.

Not in Aus, any time is good for a barbie and a beer.  As Alan Jackson said, Its Five O'clock Somewhere.

Tonight's performance should be the death knell for Edwards, Odelusi, Southwell and Preston at the very minimum. Rodders was fantastic up front and was reasonably well assisted by Quiggers. They showed pace and power and an ability to actually control the ball when it came to them. As a result we weren`t chasing back as often as we normally do. When Duku came on it was even better. Two front men with pace and power and a fine performance by the boys. Ferry and Hardy worked hard and passed the ball well on a poor surface. The defence as usual were top notch. Big Sam looked a little bit off but a fine penalty save.

Note to JF :- Get rid of the waste of space players and get some pace and control up front!  Them start defending from the front. Play a high tempo and entertain us. You will win more games than you lose but you will win the fans over. Tonight was good fun! We played some nice football and it was good to watch.

Rome wasn’t built in a day. He will get rid of some players and replace them. But he does have budget restraints and a lot of competition for players. Building a business, football club etc takes time. And he will make mistakes along the way. If we finish mid table this season then that is a good achievement. We can then build on that next season.

No matter what happens now JF was lucky to survive at this club, 2 wins in 26 or whatever it was isn't good enough at any club. Hopefully we have turned the corner with these loan signings but we have to sign permanent quality like these lads to continue to move forward

Really solid performance tonight. Hardy was superb. Ferry and Maher were good. Back four solid as always. Rodney and Duku both looked handy. Nice to see some football played.

Only one goal conceded in the league in 2019. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Best all round performance I can remember this season , defence is sorted now to work on the rest of the team . Rodney gave us great options and movement up front, lovely selfless pass to duku for the goal.

First time for months since l actually looked up the table to see if a play off place is possible ... rather than how many points away from relegation. Now that is a positive!!!

Absolutely no chance of the play offs, last week every one wants the manager sacked, this week its play offs!

Best performance of the season tonight ( not much to beat) and the signs for the rest of the season look good. The biggest problem were now faced with is what happens when the loanees return? If were back to Edwards and Preston it won't be like tonight thats for sure.

Would it be harsh of me to suggest that a spate of injuries forced him to make a decision he otherwise never would have made?

Whatever, a couple of brilliant results and just 5 points off sure safety and a season where hopefully we'll consistently apply what we've learned from this pretty dross season.

Entirely correct

Great preformance tonight difficult to pick a man of the match tonight,We need to get Nathan Clarke on a contract for next season his partnership with Marty Brown who is contracted is unbelievable.Duckworth is playing like he wants another contract. At the moment how could you pick Hanson over Duckworth.

Excellent result. We look a different team when playing with only 1 holding midfielder. Defence got their bodies behind every single shot that Barnet had. Only decent shot Sam had to deal with was the pen. Still wonder when we are 3-0 up he brings Staunton on for an attacking midfielder, surely change for Maher is the right shout. Brown & Clarke won every single header.

A performance much like the Maidstone one all those centuries ago where we weren't inundating them, but let three goals coolly slip past a team with much less confidence and much less of an idea on what to do. I think we're outfoxing sides who come here with any sort of plan to attack. Much more of a proper formation there too, with playmakers in midfield and a strike force that got involved much more proactively, alongside that sturdy defence.

Does anyone know the sort of timescale it took to build the capital city of Italy? 24 hours or so?

Can't fault tonight's performance against a Barnet side who couldn't be arsed but fair play to the boys who capitalised.

Top respect to the lads I was sat with who travelled up from London to see their team.

More of that positive style of play please JF from now on!

1,085 witnessed it tonight, hopefully more will do so on Saturday. Crowds have as expected dropped, (DB Panic Attack!), now the ball is in the manager's court to take heed and continue with tonights attacking performance, (well done JF and the team), especially on a poor pitch, we may loose a few games now and then, but rattling the opposition is what it's about from an attacking agenda, and sending fans home happy!

Great performance . . . let's not now give up our new found attacking formation up for Lent and beyond! Otherwise it'll be a long 40 days and nights!

To the ones who decided to boycott the game tonight serves you right you missed probably our best home preformance of the season and Sam Johnson’s penalty  save was the icing on the cake didn’t look like pen from where I was sitting,And to the scummy little loud mouths from Barnet I hope you enjoyed your empty journey home.

Hope the penny has finally dropped with Fullarton that the best way to win football matches is to be adventurous & attack the opposition. It,s not like he doesn't trust his defence. They will look after themselves Suppose the only downside is all the goalscorers are not contracted to FC Halifax Town.

It just shows when you add a bit of quality to your squad what you can achieve.

It's a strange one when injuries actually have a positive impact on your results.

I've been mulling this over and it really does look like JF doesn't rate some of his forwards at all and he certainly doesn't fancy them to play on a more attacking formation. Credit to JF for bringing in some quality loan players who he feels can play on a more attacking formation.

Signing Hardy will probably be a bridge too far but perhaps Duku and Dave (Rodney) might sign permanently or on decent loans next season, if JF wants them, obviously.
