themanwhowasntthere 1,375
Apparently, one mile or 20 minutes walk. I have a similar deadline.

Flea 6,615
1.3 miles according to Google. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Princes+Park+Stadium,+Darenth+Road,+Dartford/Dartford+Station+Car+Park,+Dartford,+Kent,+United+Kingdom/@51.4420859,0.215867,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x47d8b18530d7914d:0x3b7065ced72d54b8!2m2!1d0.230482!2d51.436713!1m5!1m1!1s0x47d8b196b99e06f1:0xbf78e3389e4d37a5!2m2!1d0.217836!2d51.447005 The road outside the ground can be a bit of a nightmare, so it might be quicker for you to try walk too and from the station than trying to get a cab or a local bus. warleyshaymen 0
Just looking at the option of parking the car at Doncaster and going by train £22 return but it does seem a bit tight, need a taxi to get to railway station
Flea 6,615
The ground isn't far off the tunnel so there is often a little bit of congestion around there. Just something to consider. It might not be too bad with it being late on, but its something to take into account. Depends what time your train goes from Dartford I suppose.
Glenners 206
I went for the replay a couple of years back. There is a regular city hopper bus which leaves just outside the station and takes you direct to to the ground. Leaves every 10 mins or so....same after the game. Train then direct to waterloo east then if you're tight for time get a black cab to KGX...cost you about 15 .

Word of warning though, if saturday is a draw Dartford will be off.
greg45 1,488
Understand from speaking to folk who've taken the train to the ground that it's a bit of a nightmare walking to/from the station.

(Not) Halifax Town FC 2
Dartford away on the Tuesday Valley Parade Wednesday night - City v Millwall There is only one Lee Gregory - hope he has got over his bad back...............I will be wearing my blue and white scarf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Flea 6,615
Word of warning though, if saturday is a draw Dartford will be off. Good spot. Either way we have a game on Tuesday then, assuming weather doesn't stop it. Personally I would have preferred if the teams could have agreed to have played until there was a winner on Saturday, as an idea of a reply at Alfreton isn't the most mouth watering prospect, although I would go. A cracking chance to get into the next round of the cup though, so I really hope we are taking it seriously. Dartfords form hasn't been too cracking either, so I'd be targeting another win there. Two from two please Shaymen!
neilstewart 195
Good spot. Either way we have a game on Tuesday then Not, if either us or Alfreton win and Dartford draw their game.

greg45 1,488
That buggers my plans up, thank you for posting that though! Not all buses won't be running - it is a reduced service though. Take a look on TFL's website where I think they have more info - worth saying though that they never know exactly what service they'll run when there's a strike on.
