  1. I don't even think Cliff could deal with that Hat!
  2. He is abysmal. Worst ive seen at the Shay in 30 years
  3. True - but there are better right backs out there than Moyo. He is on a direct par with Harban. Just not up to it
  4. But that is what the people demanded - sign some men Aspin sign some men. So he signs them, plays them, we lose one game...............................................then Armageddon! Good old football fans, as clueless as they are loyal in general. I stand by a philosophy of only signing players that will improve the squad in the long term.
  5. Sign some bloody men! I dont care who they are, just names on paper will do............................just please sign some men. The people demand signings.
  6. Absolutely. On paper was/is Wrexhams best squad indeed Wrexhams fans seem to believe the same - hence my comment about it being a really tough game. I think two factors are that they are no where near as good as they think (ive certainly seen better Wrexham performances the Shay), the other factor is that we played well and matched them in every single department. Trust this clarifies and I thank-you for your continued interest in me. Regards
  7. Thats the only fault you could throw our way last night. Just that bit of composure. We managed the game well, showed patience and engineered opportunities - just needed one cool head to win the game and we fell short on that score.
  8. Was funny hearing them cheer like they had win the Konica league when the tannoy announced that for the first time in history they managed to bring over 500 to the Shay. Thats the worst Wrexham team I've seen at this level. Million miles away from promotion based on that. They were no better than us
  9. Well competed and well battled Town. Nothing between the sides at all. We were down to the bare bones. Biggest disappointment were Wrexham. They were ill disciplined and unprofessional from start to finish and it was comedy trying to watch their forwards battle with Brown and Hotte! Wrexham have had better sides than that at this level, it's a good job the league is so even this year, that might give them a chance via play-offs but if your talking title winners or stand out team - sorry not for me. They were powder puff. It was an open game but game of few chances, both had half chances to win it, intact towards the end we engineered at least two golden chances that just needed more composure. To say our lads has been plastering and building all day and our squad was down to the bones I thought we more than matched the wrapped in cotton wool lads from North Wales. A deserved point. Man of the Match award from the sponsors was bizzare, Johnson was hardly rushed off his feet. Made a nice camera save in the first half and dealt with a cross come shot very well in the second half. That's it. Big shout to Matty Brown, best defender on the pitch alongside Hotte who is natural at centre back. Also big shout to Lynch. It was tough in there for him but he was first to most things and even showed some drive forward and a nice mid range of passing. Plonker of the night goes to Wrexhams Pearson, motor mouth, donkey, cry baby all rolled into one. Skippers arm band as well........he was an embarrassment to his profession and I can't help feeling with a bit more leadership and example on the pitch Wrexham might have come away with the points. Macclesfield are top of the league, they have lost the same amount of games as us and are 1 worse off on goal difference. Its all to play for.
  10. Thats correct really - and as long as we dont hear the BOD telling us that we are equipped and are pushing for the football league which was the no substance nonsense that they were pushing about at the height of the Aspin era that really annoyed me then i accept they run a right ship all be in with no intention in building foundations for the future when they have gone. They will most probably leave the club as they found it which is with nothing. As a part time bottom end conference/top end conf North outfit then we will bob along just fine. We are a Nuneaton, Altricham or Southport equivalent in a fur jacket . If people are happy to trundle along at that then thats fine.
  11. Your f***kng broadband hopefully!
  12. The last thing this team needs is him!
  13. Could not agree with you more. I've often and still do see the game different to you, but thats football. But your right, the atmosphere at the moment at the Shay is vile. I still think the majority support Heath, some of them perhaps through gritted teeth but the minority is too big now and too noisy and is causing damage. If somebody is not being constructive on the terraces then I urge everybody to tell the individual to shut the F up.
  14. Billy Heath should set his teams up in line with how he thinks it should be done and in line what has brought him success. He inst good enough, clever enough nor does he have the pool of players to do it any other way. He will only do well for us if he is allowed to do it his way. I or the man next to me may not like the way he does it but will give the guy more respect for sticking to it. People wont like this but he needs to close ranks and do it his way, 100% uglier than before. I get the sense, the way this squad has been balanced that he has tried to appease one or two perhaps above him or on the terraces. Bohan Dixon for instance - is not a Billy Heath player. Chalk is trying to play with cheese in respect of player selection. Heath is all chalk. Let him do it his way, or sack him. But whilst he is here get behind him. Stick to you guns Billy - your the manager.
  15. Tough times. Im not going to write an essay on why we are where we are as im sure most of you will know what id say. All I can say is that Billy Heath has been employed to do a job and he is trying to do it his way. He is the best that can be afforded given the structure and ownership in place, as are his players. Ill say no more on that. The late equaliser would have been a real boost, players, fans etc would have walked away with something to carry forward into the next match. Its just typical of the way things are going that Dover would go down other end and the best young keeper in the league would make a fumble of it. I have a revolutionary idea. Stick together - do something that this manager and his team have never properly enjoyed -100% backing and support no matter what. I have got to be honest, be in on this forum, down the pub or at the ground, I have never known a period of time in 30 years where such a large proportion of the fan base are offering absolutely zero support. There will always be and always has been pockets of support, no matter how well things are going or what manager is in charge that will have a pop and give the abuse, however the extent we are seeing it to now is just making the Shay a dismal place and almost impossible place for a manager and his players to get results. There can not be a worse place to play your football at the moment that the Shay. We need another 10-15% out of this manager and his players to stand any chance we can all see that and its going to be a long tough season by the looks of it............................................but from where im standing the fans who cant do anything that shout resign Heath this and get Denton off that need to change the way they offer their support 100%. The manager and his players do not stand a chance in the current environment.
  16. You what you what you what???!
  17. 3-0 Denton Hatrick and this place will be absolute vintage gold on here tonight. Come on big Dents!!!
  18. Agreed - apart from Id have big Bohan as CAM
  19. So what we are saying here, essentially, is that you have not moaned about managers that have either failed to win us promotion or worse, relegate us, but on the other hand moan about managers that have won us titles and promotions. Its a funny old game!
  20. He was, which is why a plethora of scouts followed the guy for 12 months. Unfortunately he was also bone idle and as a result would do well to get in Stump Cross B Team. But this is what happens in football, some with all the ability in the world end up playing for the Dog & Duck, some with limited ability end up playing for a decade in the Football League. Incidentally, Of all the Elephant dung talkers on this forum, your pushing a Champions League place for sure.
