I think they will just commentate from the stream , it's a deprived area is hartlepool,(small h) I doubt many have access to the internet , so it's a good idea if Radio Tees can afford the stream to then relay it to the hartlepool (small h) fans through their transistor radio's4 points

30 points could quite easily have been 50 points if we hadn’t had so many injuries in key areas3 points

Met him at a corporate do once, nice chap. One of my favourite bits of graffiti growing up was one in Liverpool. There was a poster saying “ What will you do when Jesus returns” Somebody wrote under it “ Move St John to inside left”3 points

Yes, he ended up with this! It's a humorous tale he told me about how he came to sign for Liverpool. John Toshack was set to leave for Leicester so Shankly was looking for a replacement, and having watched Waddle for Town, decided he might do. Waddle, of course, had scored the crucial goal at Walsall that sealed Town's safety from the drop into the Fourth Division but to help supplement his wages in the summer was working at the Ravenscar Hotel near Scarborough when Shankly enquired with George Mulhall about his availability. George had to ring Waddle at the hotel and told him to get to Leeds3 points

Wouldn’t be a game against Hartlepool if we finished it with eleven men.2 points

Hahaha why do we need the Yellow Team Leader when there’s a pandemic on?2 points

3rd or 4th top scorers in the league aren’t we? So I’m not exactly sure every other team does finish better than we do.2 points

Playing like the away team. Showing them far too much respect2 points

again! a very poor set up by whoever is responsible for coverage. These issues should be ironed out long before match starts.2 points

We've become a dump, and not far off being a complete $***hole. I love my town but there is nothing apart from a few pubs in that town centre for me. I've had a couple of run-ins with them scroats who sit and drink atvthe botyom of George's Square. That scruff who carries a sleeoing bag and a lass started one night so I smacked them both in the mouth, even the lass!! I dont care coz she was trying to hassle and rob me. Im young enough and i can handle myself but i fear for some of the old folk and i just know some of them and others who dont have it in them to fight back won't go i2 points

Almost Summer by Celebration. This was released in 1978 and poses more questions than answers. With no internet in those days I quite liked the song and bought the single. I always thought it sounded a bit Beach Boys but did not know at that time that Mike Love was in the Beach Boys. I also know now it is from the film Almost Summer, but I have never seen it.2 points

Need more movement upfront and to commit more when we do get up there. Not good enough but strangely not absolute dog dirt. We can get something from this game.1 point

Usual story. Same old. Sloppy goal conceded and not taking our chances.1 point

Shame for Williams not to be picked, but someone had to move out to accommodate Hyde. If the TEAM turn up like they did against Torquay then Hartlepool will have a hard task. Really impressed with the whole work ethic last week & Campbell gave a good workman like game. Woods or Williams can show from the bench if anyone is struggling. Play with a smile on their faces & lets take the game to the opposition from the off.1 point

Broad Street should work in a Town of Halifax's size, but the cost of car parking is so prohibitive that many won't pay it out of principle. Even if you walk there, or swallow your pride and pay the parking cost, you have to negotiate a plethora of beggars and nesbits in order to patronise any of the restaurants. It's just not worth it. Halifax suffers from too much poverty and deprivation, which countless governments and councils have failed to adequately tackle. When I was a lad, being poor didn't necessarily mean you were a prat, but it seems the two conditions go hand in hand these da1 point

We keep saying this, win tonight and we put a marker down as to where we are after the Torquay game. Having said that we said the same thing against Maidenhead and Barnet/Dover. We seem to be having a lot of false dawns, with the promise of what could have been. After all the postponements, and with almost a full starting line up, minus Summerfield, the team have to show that Torquay was not a flash in the pan, and that they have the desire and will to beat teams such as hartlepool, who imo are not as good as Torquay.1 point

Personal matters regarding their failed attempt to give me an incorrect address and their failure to repair a footpath that washed out in the floods 13 months ago even though they assured me at the time that they had the funds available . Yet if you're 10 day's late with a council tax payment they are quick off the mark with their threatening letters1 point

They must have seen the quality of his assist against Eastleigh, the way he turned on the ball, defence splitting pass through to the striker who tucked the ball away ,lovely bit of football.1 point

There is really no such thing as a building which is beyond repair. Ten years ago the Central Library and Northgate House were said by Calderdale Council to be only fit for demolition. Then two new uses for the buildings were proposed and both became viable and now have at least 40 to 50 years of life ahead.1 point

He’s a 5th tier keeper, he’s got faults otherwise he would be higher. But even the top keepers make mistakes. For this level he’s great. Yes, he knows that he’s not really got the pressure of a second keeper coming in but clubs at this level can’t afford to have 2/3/4 top standard keepers in the squad just in case.1 point

I'm glad someone rated Paddy Roach as much as I did. With the possible exception of Lee Butler, he was probably the best keeper I've seen in my time following Town (spanning forty years). I go on a couple of retro Manchester United social media forums and every time his name gets mentioned they groan. They still blame Paddy for, they claim, costing them the title in 1976, no mention of The Doc, who's held in high esteem, who picked him. Paddy famously dropped the ball in flight v Liverpool at Anfield then threw the ball into his own net in a game at Arsenal. So I'm told. Paddy moved to Brentfo1 point

I've liked it. I want to like it dozens of times. The first line says it all, sadly. Why do we keep voting him back in? And before Chrisbo says the alternative is worse I can't see how it can be1 point

Other cities and towns have succeeded in developing their Infra-Structure halifax and Calderdale has just been a slow and continuous decline .. no long term plan .. no step by step improvement .. nothing political about .. the decline has been constant who ever has been in charge .. everything done on the cheap .. but costing more in the long run ..1 point
