  1. Unlikely to win the league due to finances. We're only a couple of points off the play-offs during a tough opening few games and without our first-choice strikers. Our only defeat was down to a wonder-goal at Stockport. We're doing OK.

  2. Under Fullerton I was bored, the play was awful and I didn’t want to watch us. I’ve really enjoyed watching us so far this season and if we’d have got these results against the 5 teams tipped for relegation I’d be concerned. As it happens our first 6 games are against 5 of the favourites for the league and Woking who were 4th before today.

  4. Any team that achieves anything has always had a good defensive unit, this we seem to have achieved so all looks good, if you don’t concede you don’t lose, simple. To win we need to score, we are creating chances which is good, converting these chances has thus far seemed problematic, but a lot of football is about confidence, all it takes is one or two of our strikers to get a couple of goals and their confidence will rise, this you see happen in football on a regular basis with players getting in runs were everything they hit goes in. PW has had many problems to resolve and he seems to

  6. Form yes, they are JF results. Performance wise though they are night and day between the two. However it is a results business and we need to start scoring To have a chance of winning games.

  8. I stopped watching after about an hour due to the poor quality of the stream, but I'm left wondering where are the goals going to come from? If we're relying on just two players who are still not match fit to rescue this season then we're in trouble. We need others to be chipping in goals and I just don't see it. Crosses into the box are very poor, and again players desperate to shepherd the ball out wide for a cross even when already in a decent central position with options available. It could be a lot worse and we're so damn close to being a good side, but such fine margins are the dif

  10. A good point IMO, Allen, King, Summerfield and Clarke stand out players again having good games. Woking aren't mugs having won 3 games but we made them look average on their home ground. It's just a matter of Town gelling, it's early days yet. Quick mention to Johnson....best keeper in the league by a country mile! Thought the commentary was very good and balanced.....streaming was shocking at time though!

  13. Don't forget we have played 3 of our 5 games away from home drawn 2 and unlucky to lose the other. Unlike under JF we have looked capable of winning all the games. Very early days.

  14. If I was being absolutely honest and with no bias, I would say Town were the better team today. We definately have been missing a striker and it showed when Hyde came on, had he been match fit and sharp he would have scored the header from the corner and he had one other half chance that he probably would normally pounce on, so he's on his way back and if he's as good as we hope then I think we'll be ok.

  15. Can see how any fan can complain about another good point AWAY from home. Another clean sheet. Jesus preseason we were giving **** teams chance after chance. Once we start putting chances away we will be walking into league 2. Give the team a break. 0-0 at Woking is a good point. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves

  18. If only Allen could shoot and finish he would be a decent player. Gets into good positions just can’t do anything. We have been the better team

  19. That actually crossed my mind earlier this morning about all the Fullarton draws but give Pete his credit we've had a go and haven't stuck everyman behind the ball at every opportunity. We were a little bit too deep and invited Yeovil onto us on Tuesday but with Fullarton it was defence first. Oh man they were drab days. Atleast we are trying to attack and the draws are exciting games.

  22. When Halifax Town AFC became a thing, supporters of Halifax NUFC (later RLFC) who were attending the club's 1911 AGM immediately demanded that their board make no accommodation for the upstart new club. This was on the back of one of the greatest betrayals in rugby league history, that of Manningham FC, the Northern Union's first champions, walking away from the game to become Bradford City FC. Then, to every West Riding rugby supporter's horror, BPA turned away from rugby to embrace soccer as well, though this further act of betrayal did at least see the founding of Bradford Northern (now Bra

  25. You can tell Hoddie hasn’t seen much National League football. this team will get play offs minimum if they carry on they way they’ve started. Start converting some chances and have luck with injuries then I wouldn’t be that surprised if they won the league.

  42. Well I assume there is a West and East Shields just like there is a North , South , East and West Pellon so they can divide the amount of Coronavirus cases so it comes across as less embarrassing. Yours Craig Whittaker.

  45. I bought my £12 pass for the Woking game on Thursday. The way I see it, this is far cheaper than what I would have to shell out if I had to travel from Yorkshire to Woking, then pay to get in to the ground. And it is much less time consuming. So I am quite content. But I appreciate every Halifax fan will make their own call. At the end of the day, I just want to be able to watch my team play.
