Went to BPA today. Entertaining game, if you were a York fan anyway. On display Drench Wroe Heslop Moke and Hamza, who looked lean and fit until he was given a red by the referee for arguing. BPA a shambles and yet there are those that would have Bower back as manager. Unbelievable Jeff.

If it had been Mark Bower or Tommy Miller who had brought Morgan on in the 73rd minute, we'd be a few places higher in the table tonight.

Sadly Bowser didn't have the Morgan option when 5 nil down on 73 minutes. If he had I might have ventured a cheeky fiver on a 6-5 victory

Also went to the game at BPA today. Avenue were very poor but York looked good especially going forward and moke looked solid in central midfield.

Thought amari Morgan smith stood out

The Conference north is a nightmare division with some heavy hitters down there. If we had stayed down, I suspect our players would have been picked off and we would have had to start a new team entirely this year.

Interestingly league top 3 there are Brackley, Darlington and Southport with bigspenders Harrogate, York and Salford, 4th, 5th and 7th with new boys Spennymoor a surprising 6th while Stockport, Curzon and Chorley round out the top 10. Remember there are only 2 spots. And it won't be too long that unless Salford improve, there will be blood spilt there.

Other teams who spent money being, Kiddy and Alfreton are struggling on 3 points while FCUM  are yet to win a game and NFU  are 0-3, with a scoring record of 0-11 and looking like a relegation team in a second league.
