just had about 50 baby new potatoes (with a steak) for my tea. now i feel guilty, but then if those spuds didn't taste so delicious they wouldn't have got eaten like that.
here's a tough one, i know this'll stir up you common-taters, a bit like that gravy or custard with your yorkshire pudding thing.....
what do you reckon this is, a side dish or a dessert
( i don't know, it was on the back of the bag the baby spuds came in)
1lb baby potatoes
3oz dark brown sugar
2 oz butter
1 orange
salt & pepper
parsley
boil or steam potatoes until almost soft
melt brown sugar slowly in a wok
remove zest and squeeze orange
add butter & orange juice to the brown sugar and stir
tip in the potatoss and stir until sauce turns to caramel
serve with the orange zest & parsley scattered on top
sorry if i've offended anyone's beliefs, an' all that.

 What the Hell are you doing Fart and Shitey, spuds are like soldiers of the earth, they dont need pampering and treating like ruddy bummers they want chucking in scorching fat or boiling water, they dont want a frigging makover. Do not follow these instructions anyone.
