Surely the final would be on a neutral ground

According to the NL it will be but we are waiting to find out where.

If for example sake it was Notts County v Halifax, somewhere like Hillsborough, which would be central and have the testing facilities available and the correct conditions in place would be logical.

I think that is what they are waiting to find out, wil be an North or South final or will they need somewhere in the middle.

Realistically, I think the final location will be decided in advice of any games. 5 days notice in the current climate isn't sufficient really, unless they have a southern/midland/northern venue on standby ready depending on teams.

Yes, I agree the logistics of getting a ground ready would be high on the list of things to do. Unless, they plan on using one of the PL or Championship grounds which should already be ready to go by the time we want to use it.

What is wrong with using St Georges Park for NL final? Plenty of facilities there.

Something like Reading, West Brom and Sheff Weds as the 3 options depending on opponents

Just been having a look at Boreham woods team and that strike force of Tshimanga and Marsh is probably the best you’ll get in the league. Top 4 best defence record in the league too so most certainly a tough game.

Just hope we are prepared and want it more than them!

Borehamwood were among the first teams after the Chorley home game to try the sit back and soak up and hit on counter set up. Will be interesting to see if we play that same formation or stick to the 3 at back that we used after the Stockport thrashing.

Wild needs to get it right. Get Rodney and Redshaw up front we have a chance

Surely you’re better off picking a ground of a team who are in the play offs in the league? They’ll have already disinfected, had it all ready etc. Oxford would work quite well. Forest assuming they make the championship play offs.

Or St George’s Park would work

But all of the Championship sides will also have a stadium ready to go as they are playing out their fixtures same as the PL

Villa Park seems the most obvious choice if hosting it at a "proper" venue.

Pretty much central, will have process in place due to PL games, big enough to host fans on the very slim chance some are allowed in (I doubt that would be the case).

Why does it have to be a big ground? Am sure to hire them would be more expensive than a lower ground but I assume if your season is finished then you might be on pitch maintenance duties?

Read that the final would be played at a national league ground

If thats the case then it should be the team that is highest left in assuming we are still playing behind closed doors. Doesn't help us, but I think as far as integrity its the fairest way as it then rewards the teams that finished higher.
