Boden

Seemingly a target for Chesterfield who are in talks. Looks like we may be facing a Boden Denton strike force when we play there. Doubt that either of them have much affection for our fans, have both scored against us this season, and will be looking to prove points maybe?

Looks like it'll be a 2-2 draw then because both are bound to score against their old club.

Just been looking at the league table and the next 4 games. Salford then free weekend then Chesterfield, Aldershot and Maidstone. Realistically can only see a town win against Aldershot and given other teams may be playing whilst town have the free weekend it really is worrying how close to the drop zone they are. Could really get sucked into it over next few weeks

Not a chance because everything is looking up with all the players now nearly fit and why are you looking at the bottom four when the manager does not look. The time to look is when we are 4th from the bottom and the last two games are Wrexham and Afc Fylde.oops

Felt sorry for Boden following in Lee Gregory footsteps there was always going to be comparisons,I thought Boden was treated badly by some of our fans and he owes our club nothing and should be happy to celebrate a goal against us especially for those that gave him unfair stick while he was here his goal record wasn’t that bad.

Spot on. Brought into a system that needed Lee Gregory and having to replace him like for like? Talk about a burden of expectation. He didn't have the sort of power of Lee Gregory to hold up play and outpace your man, anyone with that doesn't play in the conerence for longer than a season. He's a good fox in the box striker though as he showed with his goal against us last month.

Reminds me of Southwell, decent in the box but offers little else, an average National league striker imo.

A Striker should not have to offer anything anywhere else unless he takes a shot from outside the box, it is a Strikers job to get on the end of crosses and passes and stick them in the net. All this tracking back and defending corners is not for Southwell.

Defend from the front?

But Fullarton plays one up top. They're expected to have pace, be strong to hold the ball up, create play. Shoot,

we have nobody who can do owt that you list.

Because Fullartons tactics do not suit a striker like Southwell one iota.

Not in the modern day game, perhaps in the days everyone played 442 and had a physical striker along side that was the case. These days you need a physical presence or exceptional skill to succeed as a striker and Southwell/ Boden have neither.

Genuinely worried we're getting dragged into the relegation zone.

We need King and Tomlinson fit for the rest of the season. If we have both then we will be fine. If we could get Josh Mac back by March then even better.

You think people might be surprised how good someone could be if you passed a ball to a strikers feet instead of asking him to chase 60 yard puts and just genarally asking him to charge around like a dog chasing a stick for 65 minutes?

That is what Fullarton is doing, you seem to be doing a summersault.

Didn’t realise they’d appointed Sheridan - making him the highest paid manager in either league two or national league. Crackers.
