Why if Steele thinks its unfair that Fax are being charged £825 per month more (even though he signed and agreed the contract that Fax currently have with Calderdale Council), does he not withhold that £825 per month instead of ALL the rent?

Its bollocks, smoke and mirrors, simple as.

The difference between what the rugby club pay and what the football club pay is £825 per month excluding VAT.

There appears to be little difference regarding how much time is spent playing on the pitch.

The £825 must therefore relate to the space they have available for a gym area, office space and shop space.

On the face of it £190 per week surely can not be far off for renting that additional space.

Other than a simplistic statement from Michael Steele that it is not fair that the rugby club are paying more than the football club I don't think I have seen what his actual logic is behind it. Perhaps Fax TV could ask him this question so that we can all understand why he feels hard done by.

i think he explained this last time he was crying like a baby about it - apparently it was our choice not to take on the extra space offered to us for a shop but he thinks we should pay for it anyway. i agree with him,  i could have had a conservatory and a swimming pool added on to my house and it's my fault that for reasons of cost i decided not to. #tit

a)where has the 3000/4290 come from? All the Eggers are now claiming this as fact, yet the FOIs would suggest not so.

b)what sort of a bell end thinks we should pay rent for something we don't have?

Maybe someone should post the FOI's up for them again.

Facts are a right bitch at times aren't they!

I choose not to have a bank overdraft, maybe i should still be paying it back to my bank anyway?

It's embarrassing, like watching a wasp flying into a window repeatedly.

What a shambles of a club, run by lying, underhand, desperate scumbags.

So one minute they have 1.9 million to spare to bribe Calderdale council, the next they're arguing the toss over £800 a month?

Steele, Crud, Harvey, do your club a favour and do one, you have no credibility left whatsoever.

If the fans took over, even the retarded ones who were licking Tony 'Where's he gone?' Abbot's bum cheeks, they could well get a bit of support from many Town fans who used to go to Thrum Hall back in the day.

Challenge Cup winners, 30,000 at Wembley (me included), Rugby League town, and they're not happy that FC Pubteam are £800 better off a month (for valid reasons).

WAKE UP !

Anybody got a list of Tony's dodgy companies to hand? He's assured me 1,000,000% he's got nothing to do with payday loan companies!!!

Doesn't have anything to do with 'em, just brokers for them which in many ways could be seen as worse

for the year 13/14, our monthly rent was £3550 against £4290 for them, the difference being the facilities they have compared to us. That's simple isn't it? And they haven't played less games, 23 is the number for both clubs excluding any cup matches, friendlies. However, I will accept they only play 80 minutes in their games so I will be writing to Calderdale council asking that they are given a rent reduction because of this  :D

BUT Steve the average divet they make in the ground must be at least 6cm deeper than towns so I reckon they should pay an extra 999.00 per month more for ground work so could you ask DM to apply for a rebate or we should refuse to pay the rent............

If they don't like paying more then CMBC should force the rugby into losing the extra facilities they have and only then charge them the same rent.

If they still don't like it they should go somewhere else

If anyone with half a brain had written the contract, it would have broken the rent down into its constituent parts (pitch, gym, office, shop, whatever) and then they'd maybe accept that the pitch rental is the same for both clubs and also perhaps be able to opt out of the non-essential bits if the going got tough.

But this is HRLFC and CMBC, doubt there's half a brain between the lot of them

Talk about posting something out of context. My question was obviously to a Fax fan rather than saying Town should pay for something they dont have infact It would be fair to say i were suggesting quite the opposite.

Any news on the first post yet about the website? Could it be that a Town fan got it wrong?

They also have two extra bodies per team and use the physio more than we do  we're going to need both Riley and the Vord to work this one out ;):D

Yes but all their players move about. We have Glennon whose feet never leave the ground or the same spot, causing excessive localised wear.

What do you mean? The site was in bits, not viewable like a web page.

Looked like non payment of hosting fees.

So you think a host would 'break' a website rather than just drop it if somebody does not pay their hosting fees?

Now maybe if you had spent a couple of minutes doing a bit of research you would have found out that a host is not going to do that. Dig a little deeper and you would have found out when the hosting runs out and when the domain is up for renewal. Instead you have wet yourself with giddiness that Fax may not have paid another bill and posted it on the forum and it turned out not to be true.

Could you please ensure the Shay pitch is left spotless for the rent paying tenants and take that tin pot outfit back to Asda Car Park your spiritual home. Oh and if you so find the cash you promised for the Shay and a BOD with integrity then maybe you can come back. Squatters out
