can't believe some of the comments on the updates - sounds like the moaners are out in force, just not at the game

listening to the commentary, it sounds that on the whole since the goal we've been on top with several chances to score... more of the same in the second half from Town will surely bring at least 1 more goal for us

Keep the faith lads we will score judging on the 1st half display. How many chances have they had? Our possession and link up play have been great all we are missing is the final touch. It's just a shame our best chance didn't fall to one of our strikers instead of Worthington, although all credit to him for getting forward at every opportunity.

2-1 through Worthington, can we do a repeat of Guiseley last season?

Very depressing this.

yes we're losing, but sounds like we are much the better team, so why is it depressing?

Because I'd rather be the worst team and 2-1 up.

well on the performance described on Shaymen Player we can probably consider ourselves unlucky to come away empty handed. Although 2nd half Chester came into it alot more we still had the chances to earn a point but alas it wasn't to be. Still proud of the team and can't wait to exact revenge in the return fixture. WELL PLAYED SHAYMEN.

shaymen2008, we could have done with your comments on the updates - could not believe what some people were coming out with - can only think it's the East Stand moaners :)

But due to our inability to keep clean sheets, ages since the last one, against a good side we are beaten. How much longer will this continue for? Both goals came from crosses that were not dealt with according to commentary. Do we have to wait for Futcher to return?

We were probably the better team but of course at the end of the day that means absolutely nothing. Defensively we are a shockingly laughable bunch. Liam Hogan is not good enough for this level. People will probably criticise for me saying that but ffs just look at the performances! We needed to overhaul the defence in the close season and we have ended up with exactly the same as last season and it has already started to cost us again.

We couldn't catch Hyde last season because they got too far ahead and we are threatening to allow the same thing to happen all over again.
