Yes he could and I hope will be too.

Yes he’ll be on over £1000 per week but if we want to achieve something this is the calibre of player we will need. Having Cameron king and Hardy as your two creative midfield players will help create goals. Too young, quick and skilful players.

Rather have a squad of 18/19 than 22 and save on them 3 or 4 players wages to help sign Rodney and Hardy.

Way to lightweight for this league. Put them in a midfield 3 with Lois Maynard and you could be talking

That's the least he deserves. Maybe with them being in the trophy they haven't had discussions with anyone yet

Can’t see it. He’ll either be a squad player at Salford or go to a Wrexham, Chesterfield etc

all the speculation on players on this message always seems to end with ..they are likely to  go to wrexham or chesterfield

which means they are going to be running with squads about 40 strong ;)

Yes I certainly would as does Tim Flowers ex England keeper.

Yes I think I’d rather a extra outfield player than a no 2 keeper, but you can guarantee big Sam would get himself injured if We didn’t have a number 2.

Any good player will go to them sort of clubs over us. Bigger clubs offering bigger wages. It's  a no brainer.

Just occasionally players actually use their brains, take a longer term view to career progression with clubs like ours. We have provided a platform in the past, not recently admitted something the management need to address.

All this talk of Hardy, how good was he really? A tidy little player but he didnt pull up any trees here and if our aspirations are play offs he's a player deemed not good enough by a play off side.

I disagree his performances significantly improved the side at a key time. Might have only been a month but his drive from midfield and his passing was what had been lacking.

When you look at the likes of Mezzi and hazard you should realise that height is no limitation to how good a player can be and how far they can go in the game.

Someone said Vardy wasn’t any good as a footballer , but Neil Aspin thought differently.

Also Tommy `ten man` Baker.

Dave Longhurst wasn`t exactly a Peter Crouch clone either.

Small stature but a big heart counts for plenty,That is better than being tall and having the heart of a dead sheep we have had a few of them.

Dan Gardner over Hardy if we are going quality over quantity.

Dan can ping them in from 30 yards that's sort of player that turns draws into wins

Don’t think we’ll ever see him in a town shirt again. He’s moved onto better things despite injuries

Anyone else remember Barry Tait, one season wonder for Town. Scored 22 goals for Town most at Home and within 9yard box.

Certainly do never believe in trecking back I´d have thought all from within 6 yard box.......mind you a 1 season wonder would probably get us 100k in transfer fees today (Tuton).

Barry Tate signed from Bradford City went on to Accrington, played 36 games scored 23. Only successful at the Shay.
