They are usually Leeds XI rather than the first team and Guiseley/Arrogate do both have historical ties with Leeds. Perhaps Mr B should check his Bradford City connections as we are now getting steadily closer!

Doesn't matter what sort of team rocks up so long as a few thousand fans do.

Let's hope you don't (during a game) this season.

I would prefer to see us build a connection with Sheffield United. It would be good to give Mr Wilder the applause he deserves & who knows, he may be inclined to loan us a decent player or 3. The man did us proud & I feel sure he still has a soft spot for us.

Plus they are 3 divisions higher than Bradford Vinny :P

This is borne out by the loan in Aspin’s last year of David Brooks, CJ Hamilton and Julian Banton, who I thought looked the best of the trio at the time. Whatever happened to him? Hamilton now at Mansfield, Brooks a Wales international and a £10 million (?) signing by Bournemouth, of course.

Surprisingly after us only loaned to Alfreton for a month thought he would have gone to a L2 club for a few months.

The usual suspects at home for me

Leeds Utd

Sheff Wed

Sheff Utd

Sunderland

any of these 4 or preferably all will do nicely for the coffers, thank you

Ideally we should be looking to play clubs that have been promoted. This means - hopefully - that players and fans will be up for it and, in the case of fans, they travel in numbers. Higher league clubs at home and lower league clubs away.

Barnsley, Bury, possibly Tranmere then.
