The  scott McManus 1-0 stand.

To be fair, Macca has written his name in FCHT history and deserves a statue in town centre at the very least

According to my Regimental Association website, a memorial to The Duke of Wellington's Regiment is going to be built there once we have raised the necessary private funding. Apparently fully backed by Council but no public money being used, which, by the way, I fully agree with.If anybody wishes to donate in memory of friends or relatives who served please feel free to do so.

Good luck with the money raising Scouse. I was working as a "german civvy" for the REME in Minden, Germany when the Duke of Wellies were stationed there in the mid 1970s. Happy times.

Remember it well. Fond memories ( and some forgotten nights) of Dixies and the Heckmeck and other low down establishments. I remember going to Red Fred's for the sunday morning paper and arriving back at barracks on Tuesday morning with the paper still under my arm. Luckily we had a couple of days off as I cannot remember anything in between. It was my first experience of 24hr opening. Late 76 to early 80.

Anyone getting the feeling that they're postponing their next series BBC series until they win something in full glorious fashion and don't piss it up the wall with several skied penalties?

Just had Alex Ferguson open and re-name the new stadium. Maybe they were waiting to film that. You know what a delay "Fergie Time" can cause

That would be right , it's a fairytale and fairytales have happy endings and despite investing all that money they have not payed for the damage their penalties caused to the windows at Jenny Dees.
