I read in the Courier that last season following Morgan's FA cup hatrick against Wimbledon (for Curzon) the first person on the phone to him was Billy Heath. Surely evidence enough that he was a Billy Heath signing, oh wait someone will claim they know that Bosomworth rung up Heath and said ring up that chap Morgan now immediately and be nice to him.

Really chaps, these pathetic anti-Heath stories are pure fiction and make you look like fools. This constant he's not good enough for us (despite the evidence to the contrary) is boring and stupid and comes from the same set of fools over and over again.

You were wrong about Billy Heath, just get over it, and grow up.

I read in the courier. Nuff said.

Illegal approach?

Morgan was non-contract at Curzon so he was free to be approached with a contract by anyone without the club having to accept a transfer offer.

Protocol then? If it is so easy to sign a player one wonders why we are finding it so hard at the moment. Hey Billy, pick up the damn phone!

To sign who? Not that easy, they have to better than we already have or little point in signing them. We have bodies (youth team included).

We actually only have three players out, 2 of which would be in the first 11. (Duckworth and Denton)

Riley out long term, but hardly a first team regular. Denton back in two games, Ducky at Christmas.

We are a couple short of a playoff challenge, but it's not as easy as picking up the phone. Lots of factors involved.

But it’s one thing knowing that we need a couple more players and then a completely different thing actually finding the players who fit the bill, never mind if their current club wants to let them go to us, and whether the player wants to 0lay for us, where they’re based geographically, if any other clubs have put in offers... it’s not like football manager where you can just put out a mass search for players you want and sign the best one in about 5 minutes.

Would not know about football manager never seen it would not know how to play it but I do know there are players out there always has been always will be we just have to work hard and find them. Not easy but thats the job of the BOD & management team.

.....some managers gets sacked if nothing happens?.....like in similar cases?....."luckily" BH is a very good manager in some other parts of the profession that makes him "safe" at least for the time being. How long will it take until he's found a smart/sensible/affordable signing?.....(not even a loan player or two) 3 more months? 6 or 12? For every day that goes the chance of a Top 7 placing is fading. 3 more months the dream will be very slim? It has already cost us vital points?

Spot on.4 games without a win including a pathetically lame cup exit....

Yet the only league points we've really lost were the 2 v Wrexham on the 3rd of October and they were far from easy points, have we 'lost' any league points since Stalybridge ?

Lost 3 at Ebbsfleet when the only midfielder we have currently playing for the club with a semblence of ability had to leave the field.

Sinnott not getting much game time nowadays, sometimes doesn't make the bench.

He for me whilst showing ability, and regardless of what the statto's on this group say about points / goals & wins we get when he plays, i still think he is way under par, way too inconsistent and frustrating....

He is a decent footballer who at times is let down by his team mates. Quite often Oliver is given the ball and nobody gives him an option, by nature he isn't a player to just "get rid" so he tries to keep the ball till a pass is on, and at this level he will get caught out at times. Let's make no bones about it he is the only player of his type in the squad

That's why we need to sign a midfielder URGENTLY.
